# Multimodal Model Tab

### Setting Up the Multimodal Model

* Navigate to the Multimodal Model Tab in the settings.
* Check the box "☑️ Use multimodal model" to enable this feature.
* Select a model from the dropdown menu.
  * Currently supported models:
    * `gemini-1.5-pro`
    * `gemini-1.5-flash`
  * Note: `GPT-4o` support will be added when the API becomes available.

### Managing the Multimodal Model API Key

* Enter your API key in the designated field.
* To encrypt and save your API key:
  * Click the "Save Key" button.
  * Create a password when prompted.
* To delete a saved key:
  * Click the "Delete Key" button.
* Locking and Unlocking:
  * The application will request your password to unlock the API key each time you open it.
  * You can manually lock/unlock the key using the "🔒 Lock" or "🔓 Unlock" buttons in this tab.
